Sub-Processors

Overview
Outermind, Inc. uses the following sub-processors to provide our services. Each sub-processor is bound by data processing agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only as instructed by us.

Customer-Configured Providers
Some services process your data because you connect them yourself, under your own accounts and agreements; they are providers you choose, not Outermind sub-processors. This includes the LLM provider you configure under our Bring Your Own Key model (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Azure AI Foundry, or OpenRouter) and any integrations you connect through the in-app marketplace (for example HubSpot, ElevenLabs, GitHub, LinkedIn, or web search providers such as Exa and Brave). Data shared with these services is governed by your agreements with them.
This applies only where you supply the credentials. If your organization uses Outermind-supplied LLM credits rather than your own key, Outermind holds the provider relationship and directs the processing, so that provider is an Outermind sub-processor and is listed in the table above rather than treated as your own. Credits are currently fulfilled using Anthropic and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry (Azure OpenAI) models and are available in every region. Anthropic processing takes place in the United States.
Data Residency
When you sign up for Outermind, you select a data region. Your organization's data is stored in your selected region:
- United States: Azure East US 2 (Virginia, USA)
- United Kingdom: Azure UK South (London, UK)
- European Union: Azure North Europe (Dublin, Ireland)
- Australia: Azure Australia East (Sydney, Australia)
Some processing by the sub-processors above takes place outside your region, as their Location column shows.
Changes to Sub-Processors
We will notify customers at least 30 days before adding new sub-processors. If you have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with us, you may object to new sub-processors within 14 days of notification.

- Subscribe to updates by emailing legal@outermind.ai
- Check this page periodically for updates
Objecting to New Sub-Processors
If you object to a new sub-processor:
- Submit your objection in writing to legal@outermind.ai within 14 days of notification
- Include the specific grounds for your objection
- We will work with you to address your concerns
- If we cannot resolve the objection, you may terminate your subscription without penalty
